80% off Eye Exam and Glasses at House of Optical

Today's Detroit Groupon is for your Eye Health.  You have two more days 15 hours and 33 minutes left to get 80% off at Clawson's House of Optical.  It's the place on 14 Mile with the mural of famous people wearing glasses.

I used to go there when I had optical insurance.  I just need readers, but there was a time, after Cosmo, the Wonder Dog gave me a black eye, that I went in and was sent to an Opthomologist to check out my eye.  I have freckles in my eye!  Harmless freckles.  :) Reminds me of a song...

FREE Pet Food & Patrick, the Miracle Dog

Click to give to the Animal Rescue Site
http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=3

About a month ago, I heard about PATRICK, the Miracle Dog on FaceBook.  He was a dog that was nearly starved (and so much more).  Links to his story is at the bottom of this blog post.  This got me to thinking about how some of us are having a hard time putting a meal on our table for our family.  We also need to provide for our furry family.  Family pets including dogs, cats, horses, and others are being abandoned, starved, or abused because of money is tight, and stressful.
Well, before you say good bye to the family pet due to money concers, here are some connections for our furry family members.  Several veterinarians and shelters can help out also.
